You have:
- A minimum of five years of experience in the field of inventory control, property management, logistics, procurement, or other related fields is required.
- The minimum year of relevant experience is reduced to three for candidates who possess a first Level degree or higher in the relevant field of work.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Business Intelligence, and Inventory Management System is required.
- Experience working in Warehousing is desirable.
- A valid driving license is desirable.
- A technical or vocational certificate in Project Management such as PMP, Prince2, Lean or similar is desirable.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts physical inspections and quality control of mission United Nations Property to ensure that all items are accounted for and in serviceable condition. • Prepares, verifies, updates and submits Receiving and Inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and disposal reports for the Unit Chief's approval. • Identify anomalies and/or discrepancies and the details thereof, or any other reason for rejection and records in Damage Discrepancy Reports (DDR), posted on the system and presented to the Centralized Warehouse Supervisor and Procurement for immediate action • Maintains daily accurate and auditable property records in the electronic inventory management system for property control and accountability in conformance with administrative instructions, guidelines, manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Verify and Update stock locations in the electronic inventory management system. • Assists in monitoring the execution of contracts for the disposal of property and supplies, including all types of waste material. • Assists in the preparation of equipment for write-offs and processing of disposal cases. • Assists in drafting statements of requirements for contracts and services for disposal. • Interacts with other property management stakeholders and providers of services, in particular Technical Units, Procurement Section, Joint Logistics Operations Center, and Local Property Survey Boards, as appropriate. • Assists in carrying out Board of Survey functions as and when required. • Perform Counting and Controlling of items in stock. • Ensures that all UNVMC policies are applied and followed thoroughly across all processes, including adherence to UNVMC code of conduct and ethics, and integrates a gender-sensitive approach in all functions. • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications/special skills
High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of (5) five years of experience in the field of inventory control, property management, logistics, procurement, or other related fields is required.
