Overview

Support implementation of the TiSSTAT project in the CARICOM region.

You have:

  • An advanced university degree, Master, in finance, economics, statistics, international relations, development studies, public administration or a related field is required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, data analysis, and project monitoring or follow-up, preferably in an international or regional development context is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools, Zoom Teams, is required.
  • Work experience with financial reporting, budget tracking, or data entry is desirable.
  • Familiarity with organizing meetings, preparing minutes, and supporting workshops or training sessions is desirable.
  • Fluency written and oral in English is required.

Result of Service

Contribute to the effective implementation of the TiSSTAT project in the CARICOM region by supporting budget automation, country assessments, database development, technical coordination with national counterparts, and operational support to project implementation, training and decision-making processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the project manager, the individual contractor will complete the following tasks: 1. Technical Support, Training and April data cleaning workshop organisation: • Provide hands-on support to TiSSTAT technical experts during project implementation • Support the design and delivery of TiSSTAT country trainings • Support experts during TiSSTAT installation and deployment in partner countries, In particular for Saint Lucia and Saint Kitts and Nevis • Coordinate with national statistical offices and target countries • Support in the organization of the data cleaning workshop to be held in Geneva on last week of April and participate in technical and coordination meetings; prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up notes. 2. Internal Project Coordination and Team Support: • Support project management and monitoring of ongoing TiSSTAT-related activities within the STAT team • Track progress across multiple workstreams and contribute to internal coordination • Organize internal meetings, planning sessions, and team activities • Support the manager in the preparation of visual materials (presentations, dashboards, summary slides) for meetings and briefings • Contribute to the drafting of meeting reports and analytical summaries aligned with discussions and decisions
