Are you an experienced and professional Grant writer? CAEPA is looking for online volunteers with experience in writing winning proposals on COVID-19 Response to support us win grants to support community level mitigation efforts in Cameroon. Online volunteers will identify potential donors and calls to develop grant proposals. CAEPA will provide information to enable volunteers write winning proposals based on each donor requirements and format. Online volunteers won't be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with drafts for review and strengthening. Communication will be regularly through emails and whatsapp. A certificate of appreciation will be issued once the task has been successfully completed.

    The outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus that was first detected in Wuhan City, China in December 2019 has now been detected in 210 countries across all continents. The public health threat posed by the COVID-19 is high, particularly for Africa. A global coordinated effort is needed to enhance preparedness in all the regions. To effectively respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, a number of critical actions need to be taken such as rapid detection of cases and contacts, appropriate clinical management and infection control, and implementation of community level mitigation efforts. The goal of our proposal is to develop innovative solutions for community level mitigation efforts

  • Volunteers: 5 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 12 weeks

    Interested volunteer must have excellent grant proposal writing skills, but also research and analysis skills, as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Experience with proposal writing especially on violence against women, or even with a particular donor can be considered advantages.
