Are you an experienced grant writer with excellent Grant writing skills? CAEPA is looking for online volunteers with experience in Project proposal writing for the establishment of a Computer Lab for training of Internally Displaced children in Cameroon North West Region. The Project will also be expected to benefit out of school children as a result in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. CAEPA will provide information to enable volunteers write winning proposals based on each donor requirements and format. Online volunteers won't be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with drafts for review and strengthening. Communication will be regularly through emails and whatsapp. A certificate of appreciation will be issued once the task is completed

    Three years of violence and instability in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon have left more than 855,000 children out of school. Some 90 per cent of public primary schools (more than 4,100 schools) and 77 per cent of public secondary schools (or 744) remain closed or non-operational in the North-West and South-West regions. Fear of violence has kept parents from sending their children to school and teachers and staff from reporting to work. Among these children, almost 150,000 have been displaced from their homes, which increases their vulnerability and trauma. Through this program Access to learn and apply skills demonstrated in digital computer labs provide IDPs with opportunities to advance in technological skills and improve on their learning through online curricula.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 12 weeks

    Interested volunteer must have excellent grant proposal writing skills as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Experience with proposal writing especially on digital education will be an added advantage
