Manage project implementation and ensure accountability for humanitarian assistance project.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Development Studies, Business Management, Community Development is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience with humanitarian response
- Experience in livelihood & resilience, child protection and MHPSS, WASH in emergency in conflict/humanitarian settings is preferred
- Experience in supervising & working with partners is preferred
- Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as CHS
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, negotiating, networking and organizational skills
- Computer literate and have high skills of information sourcing and gathering including internet
- Fluent in English for report and email writing, and discussion in SO/Donor meetings
- Good health and ability to travel to project area

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely implementation of the project “Humanitarian Assistance & Recovery for Earthquake-Affected Populations in Mandalay Region
- Give necessary solutions to problems put up by subordinated
- Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, interim and final reports
- Ensure project activities are in align with DIP and financial supplements and give necessary feedback to project staff members
- Give decision on project implementation as necessary
- Project fund is monitored and give feedback as needed
- Provide leadership to responsible project team in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project
- Build Good Relationship with Partners and provide timely support
Ensure designated field staff use project resources effectively and efficiently
- Manage designated field staff to ensure that they are working according to agreed plans and taking good care of the project equipment
- Review and recommend on activities and financial related advances submitted by subordinates
- Facilitate on performance management of subordinates
- Ensure the quality of project management and the community own the development process
Accountability & Quality Assurance
- Ensure timely submission of reports to the National Office-NO on non-financial matters
- Measure, document impact, and working closely with WVIM Technical teams and Program Support team
- Ensure industry codes of conduct (Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, People in Aid), Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and performance standards (Sphere) and/or cluster/working group standards & SOP are to be applied to all our work
- Ensure that the project is implemented on time and within the approved budget
- Document and disseminate best practices and lessons learnt
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 2 years project management experience with humanitarian response in replacement-related and early recovery contexts
- Having experience in livelihood & resilience, child protection and MHPSS, WASH in emergency in conflict/humanitarian settings is preferred.
- Having experience in supervising & working the partners is preferred.
- English for report and email writing, discussion in SO/Donor meeting
- Experience in emergency response situation
- Good health and travel to project area
- Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as CHS
- Knowledge of Livelihood approach, including economic development project models
- Good knowledge of Child Protection in Humanitarian Action programming specifically in case management, PSS and community-based CP mechanisms
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, negotiating, networking and organizational skills
- Computer literate and have high skills of information sourcing and gathering including internet
- Excellent knowledge of humanitarian Industry, local context and organizational culture
