Result of Service The asset tracking using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and onboard software should result in the following benefits: 1. Improved end-to-end visibility of items from the warehouse shelf bin until receipt by the client. 2. Enhanced tracking and tracing for both the UNMISS warehouses and movcon warehouses and Air Terminal Passenger Booking Units in terms of shipment whereabouts, thus enabling live visibility and detection of loss of/missing items. 3. Improved accountability for stakeholders within both pillars: Supply Chain (WCMS, Movcon) and Service Delivery (TUs). 4. Mitigation of the incidents for loss/theft/misrouting of inventory during transit and transportation. 5. Simplified and faster physical verification processes and timelines as items will be visible in the RAMS operating system. This will also allow for tracking location, condition and contents of assets. 6. Automated date capture and reporting. 7. Better inventory accuracy, reduced inventory carrying costs, reduced cycle count time. Improving the mission's KPI related inventory, reliability and responsiveness and client satisfaction.
