You have:
- Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, international economics, law, public administration, environmental studies or related area.
- A minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in programme/project management and partnership support, in combination with a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience in administering projects on promoting sustainable practices in fashion and lifestyle.
- Experience in organizing high-level events and special projects on sustainable fashion and lifestyle is required.
- Experience in developing communication materials and reports on sustainable development goals is desired.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.

Result of Service
The contractor will support Programme Officers in project management, event planning and will contribute to the successful communications and advocacy of the UN Office for Partnerships, particularly on the SDG Programmes with focus on Partnerships and UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network Initiative

Duties and Responsibilities
This position is located in the UN Office for Partnerships (UN Partnerships). Guided by the priorities of the UN Secretary-General, UN Partnerships is the gateway to the UN system to connect and co-create partnerships to deliver solutions to reach everyone, everywhere. In its role as a connector, UN Partnerships proactively engages, convenes and leverages stakeholders, initiatives and solutions in support of the Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). UN Partnerships oversees the UN Fund for International Partnerships (UNFIP), the UN Democracy Fund (UNDEF), and the SDG Advocates programme. The incumbent will predominantly support initiatives of UNOP and report to the Chief of Operations and work closely with other team members. Responsibilities: The incumbent will predominantly support initiatives of the UN Office for Partnerships and report to the Chief of Operations and work closely with other members of the UNOP team. • Plan and organize events, meetings and special projects convened by the UN Office for Partnerships: identify relevant speakers and facilitate their involvement; prepare background notes and talking points; produce reports. • Support Programme Officers in administration of projects in support of women leadership and sustainable lifestyle and fashion • Conduct research and analysis for presentation of the UN Office for Partnerships; draft background notes, talking points, and other briefing materials. Draft correspondence for senior UN staff regarding partnerships and advocacy. • Assist in implementation, monitoring and assessment of projects including conducting global surveys • Prepare and research on project concepts and support in relevant documents, reports and budgets. • Support the office in the launch and execution of global campaigns and initiatives • The contractor will execute UN Partnerships ongoing outreach coordination efforts, communication strategy and activities to publicize major events. • Develop communication materials for the UN Partnerships leadership. Support in dissemination of various communication products, both internally and externally • Monitor developments and trends regarding issues relevant the Sustainable Development Goals and specific initiatives of the UN leadership and the UN Office for Partnerships • Research a broad scope of information sources, printed and electronic; compile and present information for use in the preparation and production of advocacy efforts • Support the Office on design and implementation of partnerships building tools. • Communicate progress of the campaigns and initiatives with photos, stories, quotes to amplify messaging on social media and other platforms • Perform other duties as requested.
