You have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of solar panel installation required.
  • Project development experience in renewable energy is essential.
  • Experience in electrical engineering in solar energy field preferred.
  • Ability to work 6-10 hours per week over 15 weeks required.
  • Candidates must communicate effectively in English.

We are looking for Online Volunteers to develop renewable-based electricity grid project for consideration of Climate Investment Platform (CIP) of International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). We are registered entity of CIP partnership programme and seeking their assistance to install solar panel at the village Nagthana. We need individuals having strong technical knowledge of solar panel installation and related project management or development experience. They are responsible for developing project, one of them may work on technical layout, second one for Grid impact assessment, one for Resource assessment, Environmental and social impact assessment and one for Long-term economic sustainability, etc. Volunteers suggestions will be given a due consideration and will also be authorized to develop project independently.

Our community is in the front-line of outcomes of climate change farmer suicide crisis, air pollution, health issues are familiar fact to our community. To confront these challenges, we are working on a comprehensive EcoVillage project encompassing Regenerative Agriculture, Clean Energy, Mental Health Program, Women Empowerment, etc. We are committed for the sustainable development goals and through the assistance of volunteers, we may contribute in adaptation and mitigation of climate change.

    Candidates with prior experience in developing projects with good understanding of renewable energy projects and related experience with a strong civil society or business background are expected. Candidates with experience in electrical engineering working in solar energy field having project development background will be given a preference.
