You have:

  • Graduate of either Social Work, Developmental Studies, Development Communications, Community Development, or other related Social Sciences courses.
  • Has at least 3 years relevant experience in either or both community development work, peacebuilding initiatives, conflict management and related program/project management, for government or NGO.
  • Work experience/strong background on project management in fragile areas is an advantage.
  • Proven skills in Program/Project Management (planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation).
  • Excellent communications, networking, alliance building, facilitation and report writing skills.
  • Knowledge on context monitoring, peace processes, conflict assessment and management is an advantage.
  • Expertise in operating MS office software and has the capacity to use technology in program management.
  • Knowledge and skills on Do No Harm/Local Capacities of Peace is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator shall be responsible for the implementation/delivery of the PEACE Mindanao Project activities/output targets within the agreed timeline, resources, and areas of operation, with close supervision of the Project Manager and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Project Coordinator for Cotabato City - 5months (August - December 2025)
  • Organizes the area level project planning, baselining, implementations, monitoring and progress reporting
    • Responsibly implements the agreed project activities/targets in areas assigned
    • Coordinates with relevant stakeholders and establish formal partnership forged with signing of MOU/A
    • Conduct baseline data gathering and reporting
    • Targets groups which received conflict prevention and peacebuilding support through Peace Education and other related services
  • Closely coordinate with support functions with the approval of the Manager (e.g. Technical Program Managers/Specialists on Peacebuilding initiatives or activities, etc) and teams (Operations, Communications, Finance, SMIL, GAM, Supply Chain, Communications, CRM etc) to ensure effective coordinated project organizing and quality results.
  • Ensure consultative and inclusive planning and feed backing with communities and partners
  • Support project management in meeting minimum quality standards, improvement, reflection, learning and innovation
  • Monitors progress of targets completion and provides regular updates/reports on agreed schedules with Project Manager/team. Represent the project and maintains coordination at government councils, with other like-minded INGOs/CSOs and with relevant development/peace/humanitarian clusters/forums (e.g. Mindanao Humanitarian Team)
  • Adheres to World Vision policies and guidelines, including safeguarding, data privacy, safety and security protocols and WV code of conduct
  • Will demonstrate a Christ-centered life and work, and cultural/context sensitivity in working with the communities, partners and stakeholders
  • Complies with P & C requirements and participates in team devotions and fellowships
  • Reports to Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge on context monitoring, peace processes, conflict assessment and management is an advantage.

  • The position requires to be based in Cotabato City.
