You have:
- Advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration or related field.
- A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a producer/project manager building partnerships for significant international events is required.
- Fluency in written and oral in English and French is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
- Ability to improve brand value and visibility is an advantage.
- A track record of producing high level events and communication campaigns is desirable.
- Experience in creating and editing podcasts is desirable.
Result of Service The ultimate result of services is to provide the Communications and External Relations, Office of the Secretary-General with a comprehensive and detailed list of established partnerships that will support the strategic proposal for UNCTAD 60th anniversary.

Duties and Responsibilities The project coordination consultancy is located in the Communications and Externals Relation (CER), Office of the UNCTAD Secretary-General. Under the direct supervision of the Chief/CER, the consultant's duties and responsibilities will be developing partnerships for the promotion of UNCTAD's 60th anniversary campaign that will take place in 2024 with the overall objective of projecting UNCTAD's work and achievements over the years.
During the duration of the contract, he/she will be responsible for the coordination and management of the partnership project planning. The consultant will meet regularly with his/her supervisor and provide updated information on progress.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications : Advanced university degree Master or equivalent in communication, journalism,international relations, public administration or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a producer/project manager building partnerships for significant international events is required. Ability to improve brand value and visibility is an advantage. A track record of producing high level events, communication campaigns is desirable. Experience in creating and editing podcasts is desirable.

Additional Information The work of the consultant will focus on the production of campaign partnerships in Geneva with international organizations, institutions, foundations and other key global organizations and foundations. Additional tasks will be assigned in alignment with the work of CER.
