**OVERVIEW** ------------ Parent Sector : Culture Sector (CLT) Duty Station: Paris Classification of duty station: \[\[filter12\]\] Standard Duration of Assignement : \[\[filter13\]\] Job Family: Culture Type of contract : Non Staff Level : Level 3 Duration of contract : From 1 to 6 months Recruitment open to : External candidates Application Deadline (Midnight Paris Time) : 15-Nov-2022 UNESCO Core Values: Commitment to the Organization, Integrity, Respect for Diversity, Professionalism **Only candidates who are entitled to work in France may apply to this position.** **OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST** ----------------------------------------- Long Description ---------------- Under the overall authority of the Assistant Director-General for Culture, the general supervision of the Director of the World Heritage Centre and the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator of the Programme on Culture and Digital Technologies, the incumbent shall: • Support the implementation of the Programme on Culture and Digital Technologies including the project Dive into Heritage by providing assistance to the preparation of working documents as well as correspondences, briefings and meetings summaries in a timely and efficient manner. • Provide analytical support for the preparation of presentations and communication to promote projects implemented under the Programme through coordinating publication, audio and video material production and supporting their editing. • Contribute to the organisation of official meetings, events and workshops by booking venues, equipment and providing other related logistical support. Organize official travel in conjunction with meetings, events and workshops; make travel arrangements; track and prepare itinerary and agenda and facilitate travel arrangments. Provide administrative support for the events; collect information and data for presentation in final form; inform participants; organize the distribution of documentation; collect minutes/ information. Long Description ---------------- • Conduct research and analysis on different themes related to the topics covered by the projects approved by the donor including, the Dive into Heritage project, as deemed necessary and upon the request of the Programme Coordinator. • Prepare a variety of administrative documentation using examples or templates; initiate administrative procedures and ensure follow-up, including payment follow-up in collaboration with the AO/EO Office. Inform team members of specific administrative processes and related procedures to support work planning and timely and coordinated execution of activities and projects under the overall Programme. Perform general administrative tasks such as drafting web-articles and support information and knowledge management, maintain files (both paper and electronic) and databases for the team and assist in providing software and office equipment support. • Contribute to the preparation of regular coordination meetings with the donor and other partners by supporting the timely drafting of Talking Points, notes and meetings summaries as well as conducting research and coordinating related logistics (online or in person).
