Provide general and administrative support for project activities focusing on community engagement.
You have:
- Secondary diploma with three years of relevant experience; or, bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or related fields with one year of relevant professional experience.
- Experience coordinating with government authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies and non governmental organizations.
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, trafficking victims and other vulnerable groups.
- Previous experience with international humanitarian organizations, governmental/non-governmental institutions in a multicultural context is an asset.
- Knowledge of the context and social norms of the Lake province.
- Knowledge of data collection is an asset.
- Knowledge of financial rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken French.
Contract
This is a G-3 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 3 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-3 contracts.

Context
Sous la supervision générale du Chef de Mission (CoM) au Tchad et la supervision directe du Chef de Sous-Bureau à Bagasola, et en collaboration avec les unités concernées, la personne retenue sera responsable et redevable de la contribution à la mise en œuvre des activités liées aux programmes d’urgence et de transition dans la province du Lac Tchad.
Qualifications
Education
- Diplôme d’études secondaires avec trois années d’expérience pertinente ; ou,
Baccalauréat en sciences politiques ou sociales, relations internationales, études du développement, études sur la migration, droits humains, droit ou domaines connexes d’un établissement académique reconnu, avec une année d’expérience professionnelle pertinente.

Experience
Expérience dans la coordination avec les autorités gouvernementales, les institutions nationales/internationales, les agences des Nations Unies et les organisations non gouvernementales ;
- Expérience de travail avec les personnes migrantes, réfugiées, déplacées internes, victimes de traite et autres groupes vulnérables ;
Une expérience préalable auprès d’organisations humanitaires internationales, d’institutions/organisations gouvernementales ou non gouvernementales dans un contexte multiculturel constitue un atout.
Skills
Connaissance du contexte et des normes sociales de la province du Lac
- La connaissance de la collecte de données constitue un atout
- Connaissance des règles et règlements financiers.

Responsibilities
