Long Description ---------------- The incumbent will work under the overall guidance of the Director of the Division for Peace and Sustainable Development and direct supervision of the Chief of the Section of Education for Sustainable Development, to support administrative, coordination and communication tasks related to the management of the UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the implementation of the ESD for 2030 framework. In particular: 1. Provide administrative support to manage the 2023 version of the UNESCO-Japan Prize on ESD, including the international jury meeting in June and the award ceremony in November 2023. The tasks include: prepare and process contracts of consultants and service providers, organizing travels, and other related tasks. 2. Support the production of communication materials on the ESD Prize in coordination with concerned in-house services. 3. Provide administrative support for the projects and activities organized by the ESD Section including all aspects of logistic arrangements and follow up: prepare participants list and travel, process requests for translation and coordinate the delivery of interpretation services, print and dispatch information documents (for statutory meetings), complete forms and process requests for reservation of room, webcasting, recording, transcription of debates. 4. Provide organisational support to the online webinars/workshops organized by the Section in cooperation with concerned in-house services.
