JOB PURPOSE

Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Assistant provides operational and administrative assistance to Embracing Hope project. He will assists the team in the daily activities and will be responsible oversee and monitor the implementation of the sessions with CF partners and follow up on the MEAL requirement, making sure that all the project objectives are met on the field and collect the supporting documents.Attending the sessions for the Celebrating families module to ensure WV requirements are being applied within the session.

  • Attending the ongoing activities/ initiatives for Channels of Hope module, some sessions could be after the official working hours or during the weekends.
  • Collecting the needed supporting documents including beneficiaries IDs and attendance sheets and do the required verfications in the field.
  • Oversee the process of conducting the pre and post tests and enter the required data.
  • Oversee and monitor the cash distribution for the beneficiaries.
  • Assist the Project Officer in Following up with partners making sure they submit all MEAL requirement and storing data.
  • Assist in the procurement process and receiving the requested items including refreshments assets, etc. in addition to delivering it to the partners plus Tracking of receiving and Storing goods and services.
  • Make sure all the printings and visibility materials are matching WV communication standards.
  • Support the project team in arranging for the events and ceremonies under this project.
  • Ensuring that all the financial requests are fully done and closed with WV finance department.

Required Professional Experience

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply who have been volunteered to work/ attended activities within Faith Institution.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

Bachelor's degree in a social development-related field, (business, Administration, or social studies) Familiar with core principles of Children Rights, Child Protection, Participation, Do No Harm, Community, and Family Support as well as Child Protection Minimum standards. Interest in areas of child protection and/or Faith; background in dealing with children & young people. Must be computer literate, with knowledge and hands-on skills with email and in MS Office Word and Excel. Experience with PowerPoint and Project Management software is an asset. Driving license is an asset Good English skills Fluent Arabic Good verbal and written communication skills Active listening skills Empathy, respect, tact, and a non-judgmental, persuasive, reassuring approach Positivity and a supportive and motivating approach Good time-management and planning skills Ability to travel to several governorates

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a social development-related field, (business, Administration, or social studies).
