You have:

  • Have graduated from or enrolled in the senior year at an undergraduate degree program in social, political, education, or development-related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing online events of various scales and types, preferably student online training.
  • Experience in creating and managing schedules, exercises, and timelines for educational programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or other project management software and methodologies.
  • Commit to a part-time volunteer schedule, with flexibility for occasional meetings and deadlines.

The Youth Empowerment Initiative in Indonesia focuses on investing in and empowering young people to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the Movers Programme by UNDP, a regional volunteer-driven youth empowerment initiative, the programme applies a training-of-trainers (ToT), peer-to-peer learning, and grassroots outreach approach to equip youth across Asia-Pacific with essential 21st-century skills, strengthen their understanding of the SDGs, and support them to become facilitators, mentors, and changemakers who lead interactive workshops, mobilize their peers, and drive inclusive, community-based action for sustainable development. For the Youth Empowerment initiative, we seek program support from 3 Online Volunteers (OVs) to assist the UNDP Youth Empowerment team in expanding the reach of the Movers Programme across youth communities.

These 3 OVs, who under the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team will:

  1. Support outreach for youth facilitating Training-of-Trainers (ToT) sessions under the Movers Programme activities through logistical support and scheduling sessions.
  2. Support monitoring and evaluation of a minimum of 2 ToT sessions/week,by helping design feedback tools, collecting participant insights, and tracking progress to ensure learning objectives and outreach targets are achieved.
  3. Support in documenting lessons learned, success stories, and recommendations into the activity weekly report to continuously improve the Movers Programme and strengthen youth-led impact.

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with background information and material needed to support and implement the program. They will not be asked to participate or conduct/implement the teaching/training and will not be requested to develop content themselves without the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team.
