Overview

Support the Youth Empowerment Initiative by assisting in developing online programs and events.

You have:

• Have graduated from or enrolled in the senior year at an undergraduate degree program in social, political, education, or development-related disciplines.
• Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing online events of various scales and types, preferably student online trainnings and/or incubation.
• Experience in creating and managing schedules, exercises, and timelines for educational programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or other project management softwares and methodologies.
• Commit to a part-time volunteer schedule, with flexibility for occasional meetings and deadlines.

The Youth Empowerment Initiative in Indonesia is dedicated to investing in and empowering young people to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the Skill Our Future initiative, co-led by UNDP and partners, the programme focuses on creating digital pathways that strengthen youth employability and prepare them to thrive as globally engaged citizens. With a strong emphasis on reaching underserved communities, the EmpowerU online incubation programme will provide Indonesian youth with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in the job market and beyond.More information can be found at https://www.skillourfuture.org/learn.

For the Youth Empowerment initative, we seek support from 4 Online Volunteers, who under the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team will:

• Support development of the online incubation program including schedule of sessions, exercises, and timelines
• Support the development of an evaluation plan and tools under the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team
• Support in creation of engaging content and resources for participants to facilitate their learning and skill development process.
• Support in monitoring and providing feedback surveys for participants, ensuring their progress on the learning management system are on track and achieve their incubation goals.
• Support in designing the Onboarding, Workshops, Group Competitions, Community Projects, and Graduation agenda for EmpowerU.

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with background information and material needed to support and implement the program. They will not be asked to participate or conduct/implement the teaching/training and will not be requested to develop content themselves without the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team.
