Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, results.

The effects of the climate crisis already disproportionately affect black, indigenous, quilombola, and other traditional peoples and communities; migrants and/or refugees; children and adolescents with disabilities; and girls. Considering the effects of the climate crisis, UNICEF has been designing strategies aimed at contributing to the positioning of children and adolescents as an absolute priority in the climate agenda, in addition to supporting, defending and strengthening the institutions and legislation responsible for guaranteeing the preservation and facing environmental degradation, with a special focus on the populations of the Legal Amazon and the Semi-Arid, who are subject to the risks of climate change.
