Programme Officer to coordinate and deliver capacity building activities for members, NGO partners and national healthcare workers

  • Hours: Full-time

  • Remuneration: up to £26,000 GBP gross annual based on experience

  • Duration: Permanent

  • Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid working available)

The overall aim of UK-Med’s National Capacity Building capability is to work with partners and health staff to strengthen response skills in order to enable health services to be better prepared for emergencies.

The Programme Officer plays an essential role in ensuring that UK-Med delivers high-quality capacity building activities to national, regional, and international partners. The Programme Officer works closely with colleagues, members and partners in coordinating and supporting the smooth delivery of both national and international capacity building activities and supporting improvement processes for all activities.

The Programme Officer is a skilled professional with good experience in delivering and supporting training and capacity building activities, specifically, supporting liaison with internal colleagues, members and external partners to ensure high standards of delivery. Furthermore, the Programme Officer is accomplished in ensuring that all coordination of training activities is handled in a timely and expert manner to ensure a professional learning experience for participants, faculty members and partners.
