FFS is required to produce reports on quarterly basis (including annual reports at the end of each year) for its partners, in addition to donor-specific reports for UNDP to fulfil its contractual requirements while meeting the corporate quality standards. • Consolidated Reports: The consolidated reports enable the stabilization pillar to share with donors in a published document, the important work undertaken through the program, describe challenges and lessons learned, and serve as an important tool to inform policymakers of progress in Iraq on stabilization. • Donor Specific Reports: Several donors (Australia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, etc.) require regular written reports (quarterly, biannual and/or annual, as per each contribution agreement), while other major donors require ad hoc progress updates in various forms (including weekly updates with USAID). In other words, this means between 7 to 14 reports need to be prepared in a quarter. It is anticipated that the majority of 29 donors to FFS project will require final reports. Given the changing resources mobilization landscape in the country, it is crucial that the Reporting Officer provides accurate and informative reports to the External Relation Team in a timely manner, to fulfill the most essential contractual deliverable of reporting to the donors.

Under the direct supervision of the External Relations Team lead , the International UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: • Report writing: collection of data and information from programme teams and other relevant units, drafting high-quality narrative donor and internal reports within deadlines - including quarterly/annual /final reports, post-activity and any other project documentation as per donor requirements; • Synthesis and documentation of lessons learnt and best practices for FFS projects. • Support the drafting of concept notes and proposals; • Drafting minutes of donor meetings including high-level meetings; • Provide administrative support, as required, to donor engagements and meetings; • Support knowledge sharing processes and systems: Promote regular sharing of • experiences across programmes and divisions; facilitate seamless sharing of ideas, knowledge, and experiences among staff and partners • Conduct other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor and provide other support to both projects in compliance with UNDP rules and regulations, policies and strategies.

3 years of relevant professional experience in reporting drafting of documents and proposals and data collection. Master degree in Journalism, Law, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Social Sciences or a related fields.

UN personnel in Iraq operate in a volatile security environment. In Erbil duty station personnel work in secured compound with limited access outside of the city, which usually can only be done with stringent clearances and depending on the destination, a military escort. Erbil is a non-family duty station and is classified as security risk moderate. UN personnel in Erbil live in MORSS (Minimum Operational [Residential] Security Standards) compliant residences outside of the UN compound. International personnel operating in Iraq must take online security awareness in the field trainings prior to arrival in Iraq and undertake a mandatory Security Induction Awareness Training (SAIT) immediately upon arrival. The Rest and Recuperation (R&R) cycle in Erbil is 8 weeks, with the designated place of R&R being Amman, Jordan. Currently there are UN flights (UNAMI and UNHAS) to and from Iraq, covering Iraq, Kuwait and Jordan. There are many international flights to Erbil, Baghdad and Basrah. There are some ATMs operational in Erbil (Northern Iraq). The dominant currency in use i Iraq is USD. The Iraq dinar is used with an exchange rate of approximately USD 1 = 1,400 Iraqi dinar. Market is mostly cash-based; both USD and Iraqi Dinar are widely accepted. Payments by credit cards are accepted in limited number of shops.
