The Programme Coordinator will be expected to perform the following essential duties: Long Description ---------------- - Coordinate and quality assure the overall contribution of the Education Sector to the Executive Board and General Conference, ensure follow-up on decisions and resolutions and prepare materials to support senior management including briefs, presentations and reports. - Contribute to the Education Sector’s Programme Management cycle in coordinating and quality assuring the preparation of statutory documents (C/4 and C/5), workplans and key reporting documents. - Liaise with education-related category 1 institutes to foster programmatic synergies in line with the Education Sector’s strategy and provide support in corporate issues. - Monitor, coordinate and guide the establishment, renewal and reporting of category 2 centres. - Provide guidance and backstopping on the above to colleagues at Headquarters, Field and Institutes, anticipate key issues and identify creative and practical solutions, in collaboration with Central services and other Programme Sectors where appropriate.
