You have:
- A Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health or any other related field.
- Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Siswati.
- At least five years experience in nutrition or public health projects.
- Experience in implementing nutrition sensitive projects/activities.

JOB PURPOSE
To support Eswatini Country Office nutrition activitiies in alignment with the Country Strategic Plan.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Under the supervision of the Programme Policy Officer and the overall guidance of the Head of Programme, the Programme Associate - Nutrition will carry out the following tasks:
- Provide technical support and assist in the development and implementation of nutrition specific andd sensitive activities and monitoring processes as per the CSP.
- Corodinate to nutrition programming to ensure activities are performed within the established WFP's policies and procedures.
- Work and exchange information with internal counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing project activities.
- Responsible for preparing nutrition-related reports and data analysis and ensuring deliverables adhere to WFP corporate standards and quality controls.
- Compile data and support analysis and preparation of reports (Country Office briefs, Annual Country Report) in order to support oprational decision-making.
- Contribute to the writing of reports and funding proposals/concept.
- Develop and/or strengthen relationship with relavant government departments and nutrition stakeholders.
- Represent WFP in nutrition related partners meetings, workshops, etc.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Good analytical skills and experience in report writing;
- Ability to work in a team, and establish effective working relations with persons of different national and cultural backgrounds;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with counterparts and staff within the office, and with other stakeholders;
- Ability to establish priorities and to plan, coordinate and monitor own work plan
- Ability to interpret and analyze a wide variety of nutrition programme issues and statistical information, and to maintain accurate and precise records;
- Ability to communicate in a team with communities and people with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds to achieve common goals;
- Ability to solve problems in a holistic manner and achieve planned goals;
- Sound negotiation skills and ability to accept responsibility.
- Knowledgeable in Nutrition sensitive and nutrition specific programming and how this has evolved globally and regionally
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office and a data analysis application
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health or any other related field. Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Siswati .
