Details

The UN Volunteer will be working under the Activity 1 (Provide unconditional assistance to crisis-affected people in Lebanon, including refugees), providing support to three programmatic teams in implementation of operations and contributing towards advocacy, especially in championing rights for persons with disabilities.

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Policy Officer, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

Programmatic 1. Engagement in the planning, implementation, and advocacy on disability inclusion activities 2. Support in community engagement activities such as: compiling feedback from community-based helpdesks, organising community consultations through focus group discussions and surveys, coordinate field visits and tracking recommendations highlighted in the back to office reports 3. Support the protection officer in service mapping for referral of persons with disabilities

Reporting and Administrative 1. Monitor and update progress in the implementation team workplans 2. Compile weekly progress reports and monthly situational reports 3. Tracking expenditure plans and supporting in procurement processes
