- Fluency (oral and written) skills in English.
Contract
This is a G-4 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 4 years of experience, depending on education.

Job Roles and Responsibilities ------------------------------ Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer for Culture, and the overall leadership of the Head of Office and UNESCO Representative to Namibia, the main tasks and responsibilities include: 1. Support planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of Culture Sector activities. 2. Maintain relationships with national and regional partners, including arts and culture organizations, private sector entities, and communities. 3. Provide technical and administrative assistance for UNESCO-supported programs and Voluntary Contribution projects. 4. Draft reports, correspondence, project proposals, work plans, and strategy documents. 5. Support management of project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and preparing financial statements. 6. Contribute content for UNESCO’s website, newsletter, and reports to enhance visibility. 7. Support UN Programme Coordination Groups, participate in sector and technical working groups, and ensure follow-ups. 8.
