Update training plans and manage training for local staff.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Social Work, International Affairs, or related field a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including work in the U.S. refugee program in the U.S.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and work through change in a proactive and positive manner.

Major Responsibilities:

- Update IRC headquarters training plan for local staff implementing the program. This will include webinars, communities of practice and in person training as well as updating the program manual and other written materials. Ensure there is a sound mechanism for evaluating the effectiveness of the training. - Train local PC staff in person and remotely on program services service delivery and documentation requirements. - Manage, develop, and design e-learning modules for field offices and provide additional interactive training via webinars and other learning opportunities. - Manage the ICM intranet pages (RescueNet) to ensure field resources are easy to locate and up to date. - Track PC training activities and maintain/update associated protocols. - In coordination with the Program Manager and other HQ PC team members, manage schedules, logistics and budget for meetings and trainings as well as conferences. - Adjust training content based on an analysis of monitoring findings and community service provider trends. - Conduct client casefile review and client interviews for internal program monitoring visits. Provide support to HQ and sites on internal and external monitoring as needed. - Write clear, concise activity reports for the funder and contribute to headquarters monitoring activities and reports.

Job Requirements: Successful candidates must possess knowledge of resettlement programming with experience working on the Afghan emergency response a plus. This position requires a diverse skill set including training, monitoring and strong communication skills. Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment with ability to effectively build internal and external relationships.

- Standard office working environment. - Up to 30% of domestic travel as needed.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
