Job Description

Job Overview: Under supervision of the Team Lead, Resettlement, Asylum and Integration Programming, supervise reporting & data visualization function of the Afghan Assurance Portal through Hummingbird to move parolees to final destinations as quickly as possible. Ensure services are provided in compliance with contract requirements and reports are completed in a timely manner. Confirm timely, professional, and complete interactions with stakeholders and provide timely reports on a regular basis.

About Hummingbird

Hummingbird is a cloud-based case management system supported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Hummingbird stores SIV applicant and parolee data and is used to track applicants through applicable stages of case processing. In Hummingbird, authorized users can view case information and applicant biodata, update and track completion of various processing activities on base, and use the searching and filtering capabilities to produce reports.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provide effective management and oversight of reporting & data visualization function - Ensure the quality of data and information shared and created by Program Specialists - Finalize reports submitted to PRM and the Resettlement Agencies and provide timely reports on a regular basis

- Manage a team in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards and provide appropriate training, coaching and development of staff - Satisfy overall recordkeeping and reporting requirements - Ability to travel to current safe haven as needed. - Fulfill other assurance team tasks such as monitoring Helpdesk, medical and protection mailboxes as well as assisting with arrivals reconciliation. - Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field of study preferred.

Work Experience:

- Relevant professional experience in human services field required; minimum of 3-5 years’ experience strongly preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. - Domestic (non-local) travel may be required - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work
