Role Purpose:

Responsible for capturing applied learning from innovative initiatives, supports in analyzing after-action reviews and other program data to improve programming, and document how the program team make use of evidence to make program decisions. Supports the Director of Sponsorship in engaging strategic partners and sponsors through networking and organizing stakeholders’ forum.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Sponsorship program in strengthening evidence-based programming through knowledge management.
  • Responsible for documenting results, insights and key learnings from testing innovation and other program initiatives that support logical decision-making for effective adaptive programming. This includes capturing lessons, failures and how the program team has bounced back from failures.
  • Ensure that data processed by MEAL are circulated and track how these are utilized by program leads to improve programming
  • Responsible in preparing and establishing communication and in facilitating the signing of memoranda of agreements and/or understanding with strategic partners (i.e CSOs, academe, private sector, male-dominated groups) to amplify voices of girls against gender discrimination and violence.
  • Responsible for organizing forums, workshops and coordination meeting national-level civil society organizations, national government agencies and academic institutions, private sectors child-led organizations and youth-led organization to strengthen strategic partnership and alliances championing adolescent sexual reproductive health and rights, campaigning against adolescent pregnancy, child early forced marriage and unions (CEFMU), gender discrimination and violence and social exclusion

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or any relevant course
  • knowledge in Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion
  • Experience in Research and Development
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed.
