Duties and Responsibilities

The internship in the Division of Production, Productivity and Management will last 3 months, depending on the needs of the Office. Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an "as-needed" basis. Under the supervision or overall guidance of Marco Llinás: The intern will support the Unit of Investments and Corporate Strategies. Tasks will include: - Collaborate in studies on productive development in general, with special attention to impact investments and companies in the region. -Liaise with government officials in the region to receive information regarding firm level data. -Use statistical software to analyse company data in countries in the region. - Support the management of the Development Policy Studies Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The basic education required is HS Diploma. Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

Languages

Fluency in Spanish is required. Knowledge at a basic level of English is required.
