Overview
Manage procurement services ensuring compliance with UNDP policies.
You have:
- At least 5 years of professional work experience at the international level in procurement and supply chain management in crisis countries, preferably with UN agency.
- UNDP Procurement Certification Level 1 is mandatory (to be completed within 6 months of appointment).
- CIPS (level II, III, IV) is an asset.
- Prior procurement experience in high volume processes is an asset.
- Solid experience in the management of people and systems in high-pressure environments.
- Strong IT skills.
- Experience of UN or UNDP procurement policies and procedures highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills.
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
- Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners.
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Genuine commitment towards the principles of voluntary engagement, which includes solidarity, compassion, reciprocity and self-reliance; and commitment towards UNDP mission and vision, as well as to the UN Core Values.
Contract
