You have:
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Finance, Corporate Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
- Excellent ability to express themselves in English, both orally and in writing.

- Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management.

- Interest in and understanding of resilience and international development cooperation is desirable.

The Bureau is seeking a Private Sector Partnership UNV for new business development to contribute to the marketing and analytical work on private sector and philanthropy landscape assessment. The Private Sector Partnership Officer will be part of a small unit that guides, develops and leads partnerships with private sector and philanthropy. The unit supports regional teams and country offices for strategy development, new business development, outreach and and specific deep-dive analysis of private sector and philanthropic partners to maximize the partnership and engagement with private sector in the region.
Regional Private Sector Partnership Officer will be reporting to the Regional Private Sector Partnership Specialist
Description of Responsibilities /Scope of Work:
Support the private sector partnership team in expanding strategic partnerships with private sector, foundations and HNIs. Work closely with the team to assist in proposal writing, pitches to new partners, analysis and mapping as required.
Support the Private Sector Partnership team with key private sector landscape analysis. This will include but is not limited to conducting analytical research into the broader private sector and philanthropic landscape, thematic research, identify prospective donors and partners for specific country offices and regional programme teams.
Develop presentations, multimedia materials and proposals on new thematic areas of discussion with potential partners.
Provide support to the team in development and preparation of key materials for partnership proposals and meetings through background research.
Support the team to identify, evaluate, research and provide information on high-potential prospects for thematic areas of work.
Support in preparation of key partner meetings, partnerships launches, panel discussions and other related events
Support the team in maintaining and updating a dynamic database of private sector partners across the region, and support in formulating quarterly and annual reports on private sector partnerships in the region.
