Eligibility criteria

Minimum age: 25 years old. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations.

Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Private Partnerships Specialist, the UN Volunteer Private Partnerships Officer will support the Partnerships Specialist by:

• Being the focal point for the partnership’s development process: prospecting, due diligence, negotiation, contract development, partnerships’ monitoring and evaluation.
• Further developing, implementing and monitoring the Country Office Private Partnerships strategy for 2021-2025.
• Ensuring private partners prospecting efforts including the development and maintenance of a database of current and potential private partners as well as stakeholders from Government and civil society who can support the country office’s Business 4 Results agenda .
• Supporting the office’s business engagement work in the cross-sectorial area of Mobile Network Operators (MNO), digitalization, youth employability and market influencing.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required degree level:

Master degree or equivalent

Education - Additional Comments:

Master's degree in Business Administration.

Required experience:

36 Months

Experience remark:

Required Experience: 3 years of working experience; experience in the areas of partnerships, marketing, project management, market analysis, finance, is considered an asset.

Developing country working experience is required.

Working experience in Cote d’Ivoire is considered an asset. Familiarity with mobile network operators and youth employability work is considered an asset.

Familiarity with UNICEF’s work is considered an asset.

Language skills:

• French(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
• English(Mandatory), Level - Working Knowledge
