Printing Services Clerk (Individual Contractor)

Result of Service To provide high-quality printing services by using the Heidelberg printing machine.

Work Location Location of work will be home based at the UNPA Printing Room, Vienna International Centre, Wagramerstrasse 5, 1400 Vienna, Austria.

Expected duration 1 July - 30 November 2022 (107 days between July and November)

Duties and Responsibilities The contractor will assist in setting up and maintaining the Heidelberg printing machine. The contractor will ensure the timely delivery of the required number of First Day Covers, cancelled stamps sheets and other philatelic products, requiring cancellation and printing. Perform other printing duties as assigned.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: - A high school diploma is required. Experience: - At least one year of relevant experience in handling printing equipment and providing printing services is required. - Good printing skills are required. - Good knowledge to maintain and use the Heidelberg printing machine is required. - Good manual skills to handle stamps and other philatelic products is required. - Professionalism, client-orientation and accountability is required. - Flexibility in working days is required. Language: - English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, good knowledge of English and German is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
