Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of Principal Investment Specialist (Syndications) to the Guarantees and Syndications Unit of the Office of the Director General (OPSD-GSU) within the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. After an initial period of one year, you will have the opportunity to be outposted to one of ADB's Resident Missions, potentially in South Asia.

You will report to the Advisor, PSOD and Head, OPSD-GSU and may oversee International, National and Administrative Staff.

Your Role

As a Principal Investment Specialist (Syndications), you will raise external funds from commercial sources for ADB's non-sovereign clients by originating, structuring, and syndicating debt, with a primary focus as the syndication lead for the South Asian Markets a. Our syndication partners are international, regional and local commercial banks, Development Finance Institutions ("DFI"), funds and institutional investors. Your work may involve a future out posting to India.

Additional Information

ADB will be rolling-out a new job grading structure on 1 January 2025, which may result in a change of the position grade and title with no change in the terms of reference.
