Preparing a Survey Questionnaire for Eco-Village Project

Our organization is working on transforming a village in to eco-village. Eco-Village ensures sustainable way of living this includes usage of renewable energy, responsible production and consumption of agri-food, adoption of circular economy, green skill development, pollution free lifestyles, etc. Thus implementing this project will enable our organization to achieve multiple SDGs together.

To work on this project, we need to get an idea about the present economical, ecological, financial, educational and medical information of an adopted village. This survey questionnaire may help us getting the detailed analysis of an entire village. On the basis of the statistics we may received, we will prepare a strategy to undertake a project which will help us to address the most pressing issues of a village.

Our organization is UNEP/UNCCD/UNSDSN accredited organization having special consultative status with UN ECOSOC so all our projects are align to UN SDGs. Through this assignment we are addressing almost all the SDGs.

The selected volunteers will be asked to design a perfect survey questionnaire. This survey questionnaire will further help to get an idea about a village, its demographic condition, financial status of village, educational information, needs of villagers, etc. So while designing this questionnaire, it is expected that all the possible questions should get covered so that a proper humanitarian project should be adopted for them.

Two online volunteers will work on this assignment. They may distribute the task amongst themselves on which specific area they may prepare their questions. For instance one volunteer may work on preparing questions on educational, medical and agricultural details. While another one may work on drafting questions on demographic information, livelihood sources, household budgeting, etc.

Both Online Volunteers may work together. Report their work in progress weekly to an organization through online meetings. Volunteers are expected to complete this assignment within 6 weeks of duration.

Volunteers are expected to be experienced in drafting surveys, doing survey analysis and relevant task. Volunteers coming from business development and management sectors will be given a priority.

Applicants should compulsorily be a graduated in recognized university.
