Support UNRWA in maximizing Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.

You have:

• A university degree from an accredited educational institution in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in the application development or management area.
• 3 years of experience specifically with Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience in MS Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile Development.

Work Location Headquarters Amman

Expected duration - The duration of the consultancy is 6 months with the expected starting date is as soon as possible. - The consultant will receive monthly fees of JD1098.90. - The consultant will be based in Amman.

Duties and Responsibilities DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES a. Helps guide UNRWA team to effectively use Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies b. Conducts technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analysing technical solutions using Portal, Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model and connectors. c. Works with UNRWA team to Identify, analyse, and architect technical solution using Power Platform and Azure and define the design principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decision are aligned with enterprise architecture to fully exploit the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform d. Helps, mentors, guides, and supports teams to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Power, BI and Power Virtual Agent) e. Guides the development team on the needed APIs or service integrations with firm understanding of implementing solutions with multiple data sources. f. Addresses and remediates security vulnerability findings in Power Apps based applications. g. Provides technical support to the built application(s). h. Ensures overall platform quality and performance i. Provides training on MS Power Platform to UNRWA team j. Perform other similar duties as may be assigned.

Academic Qualifications: - A university degree from an accredited educational institution in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Experience: - 6 years of experience in the application development or management area, 3 of which must be in experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate. - Good experience in training, knowledge transfer and change management processes related to the PowerApps platform and management Language: - Good command of spoken and written English.
