Overview

Develop and maintain web portals using Microsoft Power Pages and Power Apps.

You have:

  • A first-level university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in web development, with at least 1 year specializing in Microsoft Power Pages.
  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience in integrating web portals with backend systems and databases.
  • Experience with the Dataverse and the Dataverse security model.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Result of Service

The Power Pages Web Developer Consultant will deliver fully functional, secure, and user-friendly web portal(s) leveraging Microsoft Power Pages, seamlessly integrated with the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Work Location

Hybrid but mainly on site in Bangkok with possibility of remote workings.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Office of the Administration Division, Information Management, Communications and Technology Section (IMCTS). Under the direct supervision of the Information Systems Officer of the Digital Transformation Unit and the general guidance of the Chief, IT Services Management Unit, the consultant shall perform the following duties: The Power Apps and Power Pages Web Developer Consultant will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining applications and web portals using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate as well as integrating them with other Microsoft ecosystem tools to enhance digital solutions for clients. Key responsibilities include: * Web Development & Customization - Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and user-friendly web portals using Microsoft Power Pages. - Create custom components, templates, and layouts tailored to business requirements. - Enhance usability and functionality by integrating Power Pages with Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools. * Client Collaboration & Requirements Analysis - Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze portal requirements. - Provide technical recommendations aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation strategies. * Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance - Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality, security, and performance of the web portals. - Deploy solutions to production environments and provide post-launch support. - Perform regular updates and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain optimal performance. * Training & Documentation - Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and stakeholders. - Create technical documentation, including user guides and process workflows, to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
