STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Statistics and or Monitoring and Evaluation.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
Under the supervision of the PHL Consultants
JOB PURPOSE
The Statistician will programme data collection tools, prepare the online database, participate in the training of Enumerators and work on data analysis to facilitate report writing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
- Review of questionnaire (questioning, data types and measurement scales synchronisation)
- Set Up online data applications to be used for data collection through an electronic device (ODK/KOBO online templates)
- Train Enumerators on ODK/KOBO data collection tools
- Supervise data collection by supporting data upload
- Clean collected/uploaded data in preparation for data analysis for report writing
- Analyse data and support report writing
DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE
- Data Management processes: sample design, questionnaire design, data entry template design, data cleaning, analysis, presentation of results, training of all processes
- Extensive computer programming and data analysis including development of databases and experience in digital software .
