The Nature for Development team is supporting a high-priority initiative under the Ecosystem Restoration Integrated Program (ERIP). As part of this effort, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), one of the ERIP partner organizations, has developed ten interactive Learning Journeys in multiple languages to make essential ecosystem restoration knowledge accessible to a global audience. Designed as self-paced, engaging learning experiences, these Learning Journeys provide professionals with a practical introduction to key ecosystem restoration concepts, approaches, and real-world applications. To ensure the highest quality across all language versions, we are seeking support with Portuguese subtitling and proofreading for the final Learning Journey in the series.
We are looking for an Online Volunteer to help add Portuguese subtitles to seven English-language videos for a high-priority project under the Ecosystem Restoration Integrated Program (ERIP). Each video is approximately two minutes long, and the work will be carried out on YouTube. The volunteer will also proofread approximately 400 words of Portuguese website text.
We are looking for a candidate who is a native Portuguese speaker with strong translation, writing, and proofreading skills. Familiarity with subtitling, especially in YouTube, would be highly desirable. A general understanding of global development and environmental issues is also important.
