You have:
- Minimum of two years of proven experience in migration, gender equality and women's economic empowerment, policy development or related work.
- Minimum of two years of proven experience in development programming and or policy development.
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in political science, economics, social sciences or a suitably relevant field required.
- A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa jointly with the African Union Commission is implementing the "International Migration in Africa, shaping a positive narrative" project. The result area 1 of the project aims to promote economic empowerment of return migrant women from the Gulf Cooperation Countries. The Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment section as part of the project has prepared situation analysis reports on the economic empowerment of return migrant women for three countries. The objective of the assignment is to produce policy briefs from the situation analysis reports of the three countries.The policy brief will be reviewed at a meeting with key stakeholders from the respective countries.
We are looking for 3 Online Volunteer who have a minimum of two years of proven experience in the areas of migration, gender equality and women's economic empowerment, policy development or related work. The task will include the following responsibilities:
Developing policy briefs based on the situation analysis report for three countries The average estimated workload is expected to include roughly reviewing 5-7 documents (these can include scientific articles, studies etc.) over the course of the assignment duration.
Candidate(s) should have a minimum of two years of proven experience in development programing and or policy development. An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in political science, economics, social sciences or in a suitably relevant field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
