Its mandate is to coordinate the development of environmental policy consensus by keeping the global environment under review and bringing emerging issues to the attention of governments and the international community for action. The Indicator Reporting Information System (IRIS) is a reporting system developed within the Early Warning and Assessment Division (EWAD). It provides efficiency and capacity building on the reporting process and needs for member countries in meeting their reporting obligations at the regional and global level, ensuring consistent, reliable, up-to-date information collection for guiding research, preparing assessments, SDG data collection, and thematic reporting. Specific tasks and responsibilities; Under the supervision of the Officer-in-Charge, Early Warning and Data Analytics Branch, Early Warning and Assessment Division, the consultant will perform the following tasks; 1) Development of offline and training versions for demonstrations. 2) Performance improvements and API infrastructure expansion. 3) Organizing workflows between users and the Global Footprint Tool using indicator templates. 4) Updates to SDG indicators templates in the IRIS. 5) Prepare the platform for the next reporting period, including putting the results from the 2024 reporting period somewhere accessible and preparing the 2025 form. 6) Ensure reducing repetitive data entry by updating 2025 entries from 2024 results
