To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, planning development, planning
• Professional work experience in programme development and implementation including monitoring and evaluation activities as follows: At least Eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience. Developing field work experience (for NO) and at least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning. Active involvement in a humanitarian crisis response programme preferred.
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian

Remarks:

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station, which will be facilitated by UNICEF, is required for IP positions. Appointments may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid). Government employees that are considered for employment with UNICEF are normally required to resign from their government before taking up an assignment with UNICEF. UNICEF reserves the right to withdraw an offer of appointment, without compensation, if a visa or medical clearance is not obtained, or necessary inoculation requirements are not met, within a reasonable period for any reason.

This position is based in Kyiv, and the incumbent will be expected to work on-site. However, depending on the security conditions and advisory, s/he will be required to relocated within Ukraine.
