You have:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program and have completed at least two years of the program; or, recently graduated in an undergraduate or graduate program (minimum two months).
- Advanced knowledge in spreadsheet tools (Excel).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including analysis and report writing.
- Willingness to conduct field visits and engage with various partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Contexto Organizacional El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) es la agencia humanitaria de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) más grande del mundo que salva y cambia vidas. Brindamos ayuda para salvar vidas en emergencias y utilizamos la asistencia alimentaria para construir un camino hacia la paz, la estabilidad y la prosperidad para las poblaciones que se recuperan de conflictos, desastres y del impacto del cambio climático. Guatemala, un país multiétnico con un rico patrimonio cultural, es un país donde la pobreza afecta a las personas en distintas esferas en términos de inseguridad alimentaria, nutrición, salud y educación. Casi la mitad de la población no puede costear el valor de la canasta básica de alimentos. Como resultado, la prevalencia del retardo en el crecimiento (alteración del desarrollo debido a la desnutrición) en niños menores de 5 años es una de las más altas del mundo y la más alta de América Latina y el Caribe. Guatemala es de los diez países del mundo más vulnerables a desastres y emergencias climáticas: en los últimos tres años, las prolongadas estaciones secas han afectado seriamente a los agricultores de subsistencia, especialmente en el Corredor Seco.
Propósito del Puesto La persona contratada brindará apoyo administrativo, logístico y coordinación en campo a las actividades de implementación, operación y monitoreo de los proyectos de financiamiento del riesgo a desastres, preparación y respuesta a emergencia. Al mismo tiempo contribuirá a asegurar la implementación de las actividades del eje transversal de Nutrición en dichas actividades.
Responsabilidades Claves • Preparación y respuesta a emergencia: Apoyo operacional y administrativo en acciones vinculadas con la preparación y respuesta a emergencia en zonas más vulnerables. • Contribuir a la transversalización de nutrición en las Acciones anticipatorias, preparación y respuesta ante emergencias. • Microseguros: Apoyo en la socialización y suscripción del seguro paramétrico, entrega de pólizas y apoyo en la coordinación para el pago de indemnizaciones. • Acciones Anticipatorias: Contribuir a la habilitación de zonas de piloto de Acciones Anticipatorias en colaboración del personal técnico de campo. • Contribuir al desarrollo de la estrategia de SBCC enfoque en Acciones Anticipatorias sensible a nutrición.
Calificaciones Mínimas a) Matrícula vigente en un programa universitario de licenciatura y haber completado al menos dos años del programa; o, b) Persona recién graduada en un programa universitario de grado o postgrado (mínimo dos meses).
Habilidades a) Uso de herramientas Office 365. Conocimiento avanzado en hojas de cálculo (Excel) es b) Comunicación oral y escrita, incluyendo análisis y habilidades de redacción de informes c) Disposición para realizar visitas de campo e interactuar con diferentes socios y partes interesadas. d) Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y como parte de un equipo.
