Partnerships and Events Management Individual Contractor
Result of Service Designing concept notes for the UN Day event, coordinating with vendors and partners, supporting in maintaining budget, setting-ups and follow-ups, and writing reports to assess the overall success, findings, and recommendation.

Duties and Responsibilities The RC Office in KSA is organizing a significant number of public, high-level events in 2021 as part of our Partnerships and Communications strategies, including high-level UN Day events centered around SDG17 and Partnerships, and Cooperation Framework related events and workshops. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Partnership Officer, the IC will:
- Design concept notes for the UN day event and CF related events.
- Coordinate with the Partnership, and Communication Working Groups on media campaigns.
- Identify the office's requirements and expectations for the UN day events.
- Support the Partnership Officer in liaising with sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes including liaising with relevant UN agencies.
- Work with the RCO Admin Assistant on maintaining the event budget.
- Work with the RCO Admin Assistatn to book venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers.
- Prepare invitations, letters, and documents related to the event.
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the RCO's standards.
- Assess an event's overall success and submit findings.
Any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in event management, business management, communication, international relations, project management, or similar fields is required. Experience: 3 years of work experience in events management and partnerships, UN sustainable development goals, international relations, communications, or similar fields is required. Language: Fluency in English required. Fluency in Arabic is a desirable.
