Overview

Provide administrative support to ensure customer satisfaction

You have:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Limited working experience in administrative support functions within an international organization is required.
  • Good knowledge of UNPA philatelic products is required.
  • Professionalism, client-orientation and accountability is required.
  • Flexibility in working days is required.
  • Experience in proofreading of documents in German and English is desirable.
  • Experience with MegaStamp system (to process customer inquiries and related orders) is desirable.
  • Fluency in oral and written English and German is required.
  • Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Result of Service

Smooth and efficient functioning of the Sales and Order Entry Unit. Timely opening and distribution of incoming correspondences, correct orders and remittances entered into MegaStamp system and accurate proofreading of texts and letters. Successful performance of specific tasks and functions as outlined in the description of the contractor' specific tasks. High quality client services, productive partnerships with clients and satisfied customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

The contractor will provide administrative and clerical support to the Sales and Order Entry Unit to facilitate timely fulfilment of customers’ orders, thereby ensuring a high rate of client satisfaction, delivery of correct philatelic products and journals and good customer relations.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written English and German is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
