The Project Implementation Review (PIR) is an annual reporting tool utilized by UNDG for monitoring the progress achieved by each Global Environment Facility (GEF)-funded project. It includes an assessment by various project stakeholders of how well (or not) the project is on-track to achieving its targets and objectives. Moreover, it outlines any measures to be implemented to improve the project’s performance and/or provide remedial measures during the following reporting period as necessary. All PIRs undergo a quality assessment which examines the quality and objectivity of the reports.

To that end, UNDP Indonesia is seeking the support from Online Volunteers in proofreading and compliance check of the PIR. The selected online volunteers will support in ensuring that the PIRs meet high quality standards as stipulated by GEF.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Head of Environment Unit, the Online Volunteers will: 1. Attend the (online) coaching session on PIR review. 2. Review 7 draft PIRs to ensure that they are written in a concise language and in line with the GEF-UNDP PIR 2023 Guidelines. 3. Support in proof-reading and compliance check of the draft PIRs and the associated translated pieces of evidence for GEF Projects under the Environment Unit. 4. Provide assistance to 7 GEF Projects under Environment Unit to ensure timely submission of the PIRs and supporting evidence.

• Proven experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting is a minimum requirement. • Knowledge in current affairs pertaining to environment, climate change, maritime issues, biodiversity conservation, value chains of agricultural commodities, natural resource management, sustainable energy, pollution management, and/or sustainable development is an advantage. • Knowledge of the UN work environment and/or GEF projects is an advantage. • Demonstrable skills in analytical thinking, communication, reporting, and research.
