Overview
Implement project activities related to nutrition and protection in Haiti.
You have:
- Diploma or equivalent in public health, nutrition, agronomy or another relevant area is strongly required, preferably with experience in emergency projects and in the food security, nutrition, and protection sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with proven experience in implementing nutrition and protection activities.
- Knowledge of minimum standards and guidelines in nutrition and protection, including community screening techniques and referral of MAM, SAM cases, protection to nearby health centers.
- Good knowledge of feeding during pregnancy and lactation.
- Experience in mobilization, training, and setting up community mechanisms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively interact with beneficiaries and local partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, etc.).
- Ability to work with a culturally appropriate multi-ethnic team.
- Fluent in French both orally and in writing is required.
- Ability to anticipate independently solutions to interpersonal problems with minimal supervision.
