Overview
Oversee effective implementation of protection interventions for crisis-affected populations.
You have:
- Have at least a diploma in social sciences or other relevant fields
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in the humanitarian field or with NGOs
- Have at least 3 years of proven experience in child protection and GBV
- Received training in child protection and GBV
- Strong capacity to manage and supervise local partners
- Strong skills in planning, organization, and communication
- Familiar with adolescent support approaches in GBV prevention
- Experience in socio-economic reintegration and community mobilization
- Experience in capacity strengthening and training organization
- Good command of the area of intervention and local languages
- Good communication skills
- Excellent level of written and spoken French and Swahili
- Have a sense of organization and precision
- Be capable of taking relevant initiatives for the program if needed
- Be available to travel to targeted areas for services
- Willingness and ability to work in an unstable environment
- Ability to work under pressure and live in difficult conditions
- Strong resilience to stress and ability to work at a high pace corresponding to emergencies
- Have an acceptable knowledge of computer skills, specifically in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Sense of rigor, honesty, expediency, and respect for deadlines
