Result of Service As a final result of the research, analyzes of the OECD methodology will be presented, the comparative indicators of Brazilian data with other countries in relation to the theme "structural reforms", with policy recommendations for the theme and as an instrument to support Brazil's negotiating process with the OECD.

Expected duration 180 Days

Duties and Responsibilities The consultancy will carry out a critical evaluation of the methodology used by the OECD and comparison with indicators from other countries in order to present policy recommendations regarding structural reforms. The consultancy will carry out the following activities: · Estimation of a family of quantitative indicators related to structural reforms, according to OECD practice, but in line with the Brazilian reality; · Elaboration of comparative indicators of Brazilian data with other countries, in relation to the selected theme; · Elaboration of research reports with the results obtained and policy recommendations, based on the comparative analysis of the results, as an instrument to support Brazil's negotiating process with that institution; · Presentation of results to regulators and members of civil society;

Qualifications/special skills -An advanced university degree (doctorate degree or equivalent) in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy and related areas. - minimum of 03 years of professional or teaching experience in economic development, productivity, investments, international trade, international regulatory frameworks and/or related areas. Knowledge in various econometric methods, -Examples of works carried out, published or not, related to the subject of the consultancy.

Languages- Fluency in Portuguese - Intermediary English

Additional Information Outputs/ Works Assignment: -Product 1. Technical document containing the identification of indicators estimated by the OECD in relation to structural reforms . To be submitted 90 days after start date. -Product 2 - Technical document containing the methodological evaluation of the indicators selected for the Brazilian data. To be submitted 120 days after start -Product 3 - Technical document containing the preparation of estimates of selected indicators for Brazilian data and comparison with indicators from other countries . To be submitted 150 days after start. -Product 4 - Technical document containing results for all indicators, critical evaluation of the OECD methodology, comparison with other countries and policy recommendations regarding structural reforms To be submitted 180 days after start. The reports should be drafted in Portuguese in an editable format agreed with the supervisor.
