OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

L'Objectif general du PEV notamment l'eradication de la polio est d'eviter la mortalite, morbidite et incapacite liee maladies evitables par la vaccination. Objectifs specifiques sont:•Renforcer programmes nationaux de vaccination centres sur le District •Accelerer les efforts d'eradication de la polio, maitrise rougeole, elimination tetanos neonatal maternel, lutte contre la fievre jaune par le renforcement de la vaccination de routine et activites de vaccination supplementaires et surveillance basee sur les cas •Maintenir les progres vers l'adoption de vaccins nouveaux ou sous utilises•Ameliorer la gestion des vaccins,consommables et logistique •Fournir au pays un appui pour permettre de perenniser les acquis de l'augmentation de la couverture vaccinale et renforcer les systemes de sante.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

De facon specifique: Il/elle devra apporter un soutien technique notamment dans sa zone d'affectation pour:- l'elaboration et la mise en œuvre des plans pluriannuels et plans d'action annuels du PEV notamment lutte contre la polio- la Mise en œuvre de la strategie de la vaccination centree sur le District (approche Atteindre Chaque District)-La Planification, mise en œuvre et evaluation des activites surveillance active Paralysies Flasques Aigues et autres maladies cibles PEV - La Mise en œuvre strategies de vaccination et activites de vaccination supplementaires liees a l'eradication de la polio et initiatives controle maladies cibles PEV - L'Integration et lien de la vaccination avec autres interventions faveur sante enfant et mere - Le Renforcement des capacites du personnel de sante a travers l'elaboration et la mise en œuvre plan de formation et supervision - L'evaluation et l'actualisation des besoins rehabilitation equipements PEV - L'Actualisation des outils de gestion logistique du PEV mise en place et suivi systeme gestion stocks de vaccins et consommables -Appui elaboration et mise en œuvre plan communication et mobilisation sociale pour PEV- La mise a jour reguliere des donnees du PEV de la zone couverte- La preparation des rapports mensuels, monitorage et suivi indicateurs performance de l'eradication polio et PEV en general. Toute autre tache demandee par lesuperviseur

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Doctorat en Medecine et Diplome en Sante Publique ou en epidemiologie Desirable: Formation complementaire en management du PEV

Experience

Essential: Au moins 5 ans dans gestion PEV aux niveaux District, Regional ou National Experience dans introduction nouveaux vaccins dans PEV Desirable: Experience dans Systeme Nations Unies notamment dans OMS serait un atout

Skills

Expertise technique en Sante publique, epidemiologie et ou vaccination Capacites a planifier, mettre en œuvre, suivre et evaluer des activites liees au PEV

REMUNERATION

Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at XOF 19,161,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
