Position: News Reporter
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 4 April 2024
DUTIES:
- Cover, write, and document Institute events and stories for Radio IITA including live reporting.
- Handle news broadcasting and interviewing for Radio IITA.
- Produce news programs and news regularly.
- Assist in documenting on-air productions, prepare and write news features.
- Perform monthly web/blog and news stories.
- Promote Radio IITA and its programs through social media posts and other online platforms.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Mass Communication or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
· Have excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills.
· Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
