Support UNICEF's administrative operations for children

You have:

  • Be enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate or postgraduate study, majored in knowledge management, information management, information technology or related field(s)
  • Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university/college or institution records, or a reference letter from an academic supervisor if not available
  • Have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF office
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required

UNICEF China and its government partners work to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children. Every child has the right to survive, develop, be protected and participate in family and society. UNICEF collaborates with many partners to help make those rights a reality in China.

UNICEF China has many different audiences it needs to reach with accurate, simple and in a creative way to explain why its work for children is important and what it does. To support in this, we need additional resources to produce simple information products to be used in presentation, on the internet, for adaption in social media and for advocacy campaigns.

How can you make a difference?

We hope you can do basic design work and set up for the Admin-related knowledge management and perform the Administrative tasks as requested. This will include the following:

  • Design the interface and portal of the document’s hub for Admin
  • Digitalize the Admin files and upload the Admin related documents to the Admin Library
  • Sort and complete the e-files as per the respective Admin functions
  • Research and link the related policies and useful websites as resources
  • Assist in organizing meetings and conferences
  • Assist in obtaining information and quotations regarding the low value purchase of office supplies
  • Undertake other duties as required by the supervisor

  • Be enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate (above 18 years old) or postgraduate study, majored in knowledge management, information management, information technology or related field(s);
  • Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university/colleague or institution records, or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor;
  • Have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF office;
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
